Daugavpils – pictures

Right after crossing Lithuanian – Latvian border.

Saint Peter’s cathedral.

On the promenade in the downtown.

Saint Peter’s cathedral

The second half of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries old buildings at the promenade in downtown.

Saint Peter’s cathedral.

The Red Army soldiers’ mausoleum.

Daugava river.

Even though it was 3rd May, the trees were leafless, while at the same time in Vilnius they were lushly green already.

Socrealistic building of the Daugavpils University, formerly probably House of the Communist Party.

About impressions from that trip I wrote here.
